Enjoy a Bite to Eat in the Patio Restaurants of Eastern Québec!
Are you planning a trip this summer to Eastern Québec and wondering where to stop for a bite to eat? To make the most of the spectacular scenery found in our regions, here are several patio restaurants that offer a feast for your eyes and taste buds!
Bas-Saint-Laurent
If you’re in the Kamouraska area, you’ll want to stop at Côte Est, which offers a friendly atmosphere and a menu inspired by local and seasonal ingredients. Their Cantina patio restaurant overlooks expansive landscaped grounds and provides stunning views of the St. Lawrence as well as access to the water.
The Tête d’Allumette microbrewery in Saint-André-de-Kamouraska offers the lively atmosphere of a beer garden with its large patio and green space near the St. Lawrence. Sample a wide variety of beers brewed on a wood fire in this peaceful location where you can also admire superb sunsets!
In Saint-Alexandre-de-Kamouraska, enjoy a glass of berry wine or cream liqueur accompanied by a local cheese and charcuterie plate on the sunny terrace at the Vignoble Amouraska vineyard. You’re sure to be enchanted by this area’s rural scenery!
In the Témiscouata area, you’ll love sitting on the flower-filled patio of the Madawaska microbrewery, which is located in Hôtel 1212. In addition to serving beers brewed on site, the brewpub offers a menu inspired by the seasons, which includes classic ribs and grilled dishes.
In Auclair, Domaine Vallier Robert invites you to relax on their patio in the heart of a maple grove. Enjoy a variety of cocktails as well as alcoholic beverages made with maple sap on site.
Auberge du Mange Grenouille, in the Le Bic sector of Rimouski, offers refined dining featuring local products. Order from the terrace menu and enjoy a relaxing meal in the scenic surroundings of the inn’s garden, overlooking the beautiful Bic Islands.
Gaspésie
Located in Sainte-Flavie at the gateway to the region of Gaspésie, Le Gaspésiana boasts a lovely patio overlooking the St. Lawrence at their Au Goût du Large restaurant. Sit back and enjoy a tasty meal featuring regional flavours as you contemplate a magnificent sunset!
When visiting the famous Reford Gardens in Grand-Métis, stop in the Garden Café or Le Bufton restaurant where you can eat outdoors surrounded by trees. Both establishments are ideal spots to enjoy a snack or lunch before you resume your visit of the gardens.
The Cargo restaurant at Riôtel Matane invites you to savour a delicious meal overlooking the St. Lawrence. Enjoy the heated patio until late in the evening and then walk down to the beach to sit by a bonfire near the water.
Recharge your batteries during a stay at the Gîte du Mont-Albert hotel, in the heart of the forest and mountains of Gaspésie. On the dining room terrace, which can accommodate up to 50 people, make your selection from an appetizing bistro and grill menu.

Côte-Nord
To soak up even more of the stunning scenery in Côte-Nord, stop at Bistro La Marée Haute, at Hôtel Le Manoir in Baie-Comeau. Order from the varied menu and take in the view of the bay and the St. Lawrence.
If you enjoy hanging out with friends while savouring delicious craft beer, you won’t want to miss the St-Pancrace microbrewery in Baie-Comeau. You’ll appreciate the warm and friendly atmosphere on the patio as well as the menu featuring local products and beers made on site.
Îles de la Madeleine
To continue sampling Québec beers, be sure to visit the À l’Abri de la Tempête microbrewery in the Îles de la Madeleine. While savouring island flavours, you can admire the archipelago’s beautiful rolling green hills.
